Mother’s Day will be here soon and I’m preeeetty sure you’re in the midst of trying to decide what to get mom for her special day. If your mom is anything like mine, then your decision will not come easy, or cheap. Okay, just kidding.
Anyway, if you’re looking to do something a little different this year instead of just the usual card and flowers, but you’re working on a budget, I have put together a few affordable yet special gift ideas for Mother’s Day. But don’t worry, what I’m getting my mom will not be listed here, so I don’t have to worry about spoiling her surprise!
Mother’s Day Gift Ideas On A Budget
1. Spa Basket
A few years ago, I wanted to be creative for Mother’s Day, so I put together what I called a Spa Basket for my mother and Grandmother. The most expensive part of the gift was the basket, which I purchased from Michael’s for under $12. The basket was pretty large, so it was definitely a steal. I went with a purple and white color theme for my Grandmother and a pink and white color theme for mom. I filled the basket with your usual spa goodies like lotion, bubble bath, candles, small towels, slippers, a nail kit, and so on. Of course, they absolutely loved it. This Mother’s Day gift can be created for $35 or less!
2. Gift Card
Giving your mom a gift card to her favorite place to shop or dine for Mother’s Day will never go unnoticed. This too, does not require a lot of spending. Around this time, there are some really great deals available online and in-store on clothes, shoes, handbags, accessories, and more for under $50.
3. Highball Initial Glasses
If your mother enjoys the occasional drink then she’s going to love these initial glasses from the Wayfair website. The highball glass in picture shown is just $33!
4. Art Work
Another fabulous gift idea to present to your mom on Mother’s Day for under $50 is a beautiful piece of art. Whether its a breathtaking scenery, blossoming flowers, or eye-catching abstract, depending on her style preference of course, if she loves home decor, I can assure you hat your gift will be highly appreciated. After all, who doesn’t love beautiful artwork?
5. Cookware Set
And last but not least, for the mom that loves to cook, this 30 Piece Stainless Steel Cookware Set from Wayfair is perfect. It includes pots, pans, measuring cups, and cooking utensils. Is it just me or is this one of those gifts that you contemplate on grabbing one for yourself as well?
