Quick & Easy Pepper Steak Recipe

Have you ever been staaarving, but after a long day of work, the last thing you want to do is come home and stand over a stove all night? Trust me, I know the feeling. During the week, I’m usually looking for something quick and easy, but super tasty. This pepper steak recipe is perfect for that weeknight that you would rather spend more time relaxing than cooking. In just 30 minutes and with a handful of ingredients, you can have this delicious meal ready with a glass of wine and your favorite movie or TV show!

Quick & Easy Pepper Steak Recipe

Prep Time: 15 mins.
Cook Time: 15 mins.
Servings: 4

Ingredients:

✓ 1 Pack of McCormick’s Brown Gravy Mix
✓ 1 Cup Water
✓ 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
✓ ½ Teaspoon Ground Ginger
✓ 1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil
✓ 1 Pound Boneless Beef Sirloin Steak (Cut Into Thin Strips)
✓ 1 Small Onion (Cut Into Thin Wedges)
✓ ½ Green Bell Pepper (Cut Into Thin Wedges)
✓ ½ Red Bell Pepper (Cut Into Thin Wedges)

Instructions:

1. Mix brown gravy mix, water, soy sauce, and ginger in a small bowl until well blended.

2. In a large skillet, heat oil on medium-high heat. Then, add steak and cook/ stir until no longer pink. Add/ stir gravy mixture, onion, and bell peppers.

3. Bring to a boil.

4. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 8-10 minutes or until sauce is thickened, stirring occasionally.

NOTE: Best served over cooked white rice, if desired. See how my delicious meal turned out below!
